Dear campers, welcome to POROS BEACH CAMPING.
We would like to point out the rules and regulations regarding Poros Beach Camping ground, to ensure your stay is pleasant, safe and unforgettable.
It is hereby agreed that entry and residence to Poros Beach camping by each camper and or visitor, constitutes and unconditional acceptance and agreement to all of terms conditions specified in Poros Beach camping regulations.
ARRIVAL-ACCOMODATION-DEPARTURE
Reception is working 8.30 am- 24.00pm. If you would like to leave earlier pay the day before. There are emergency phone numbers outside the reception .
PAYMENTS are made till 13.00pm. The stay in August is a minimum of two days.
CHECK OUT is till 13.00pm except for august which is 12.00 noon. If you wish to stay longer, you may till 18.00 with an extra charge.
Upon your arrival, you must check in with reception (9.00am-21.00pm) and hand over your passport –ID, which will remain securely with management, until check out. In case you don’t wish to leave your passport in the reception, you may give a valid credit card or you can pay your bill in advance.
Your camping spot are assigned by the reception staff. You may request a change, however this must be first approved by the reception staff. Poros Beach reserves the right to request a change in position if there is a specific reason.
No persons under 18 are allowed without adults.
Any valuable can be kept in the receptions safe for free.
The management does not bear any responsibility for any theft as well of a fire-storm-terrorist act or accidents caused by the fauna and flora of the area, insects-animals-plants.
Damages caused by the fault of a guest-visitor in facilities or in camping area bear exclusively them.
GARS/MOTORBIKES AND GATE HOURS
There are 2 gates for the camping. The one next the reception is ONE WAY and the exit is from the beach.
The gates are open for vehicles from 8.00 to 24.00. After midnight for security reasons as well of silence after hours, cars and motors are not allowed to enter. Guests can only enter on foot and you may park your cars-motors behind the pool or on the beach, there is no danger.
The speed limit throughout the camping ground is prohibited to be greater than 5km/hr.
Not allowed to change your parking spots.
QUIET HOURS
Common quiet hours are set 15.00-17.00 and from 24.00-8.00. During these hours it is forbidden loud music, loud conversations, playing ball etc. The rest of the hours throughout the day please keep a low volume as a common courtesy so as to not disturb your neighbours.
SHARED FACILITIES-CLEANLINESS-GARBAGE
Keep all areas clean while respecting the environment by throwing trash in the trash bins.
Chemical toilets are emptied in a specially designated area which is next public toilets. You may empty the gray waters close the exit and there is also water to fill your campers.
IMPORTANT please DON T throw toilet paper in the toilets.
There are laundry facilities for a fee.
SHARED FRIDGE-FREEZERS
Please leave the food in bags with your name on it.
Remove your own food only and don t forget it on your departure.
They are not allowed in fridges -freezzers, pots-boxes-beer crates-water packets-large watermelons etc as well as foods that do not need refrigerator like bananas, potatoes, onions etc.
PETS
Pets are welcome in Poros Beach Camping. As much as we love our four legs friends, we also respect those who do not feel comfortable with animals, i.e. phobias or allergies.
Pets are allowed within campground as long as all regulations of the Greek legislation are met by their owner, according to Law 4039, ( Goverment Gazzete 15/2-2-2012).
Pets may enter the camping area if they have a booklet of health from their veterinarian, of which a detailed history of their required vaccinations can be provided for by low.
Animals must be on a leash/lead at all times and accompanied by their owner. They are not allowed to stay alone within the campsite without the owners.
Their daily walk for sanitation regulations must be conducted outside the camping area. Their waste must be collected immediately. Please note this includes urination within campground.
Pets are allowed the public beach, as well as within sea, in accordance with law 4830 ‘’ New framework for the well-being of companion animals-Program ‘’ARGOS’’ and other provisions’’ (Government Gazette 169/18-9-20210).
Pets are not allowed in the pool area as well as in the toilet building. You may wash them close the exit and grey water area.
Management holds the right and will be forced to remove the owners of pets that cause a disturbance with constant barking.
FIRE AND BARBEQUE
The options to light a bonfire and/or a barbeque are governed by the regulations of the local Fire Department and strictly prohibited throughout the camping ground, as well as on the beach Fire Department order No.9, Regulation regulation measures to prevent and deal with fires in forest and rural areas).
When you would like to cook, you may access to the specially designed kitchen common area.
POOL
The pool is open 10.00am till 20.pm in the months of July-August.
The rest of the months, the hours are posted in the toilet building as well as in front of the pool.
The shower is mandatory before the use.
No animals are allowed in the pool area, you can leave them outside under the tree.
Not allowed, swimming with clothes or beach shoes, ball, inflatable toys, water guns, the dives, eating food or drink alcohol.
Kids under 12 years old must be accompanied by an adult.
Before using the pool, please check the depth.
Be carefull on the poll steps.
VISITORS
Visitors are allowed in the camping ground, as long as they inform reception upon entrance and show ID or Passport.
They can stay free of charge from 12.00am till 20.00pm. If visitors choose to stay more may be charged.
Visitors are not allowed to park inside the camping ground.
WATER FOUNTAINS
The water fountains and the watering hoses are ONLY for collecting water and not for washing dishes or clothes etc.
USE OF ELECTRICITY
The power supply is exclusively for use of lighting, radios, tv, refrigerators and similar small electronics. The use of portable ac is prohibited as they can short circuit the power source. Electric cooking products such as, but not limited to, coffee machines, microwave, portable ovens, hotplates is prohibited. Maximum usage is 1500W.
Poros Beach uses 220-240Volt.Power extension cords should be extremely durable, weather resistant and made of black rubber, not just any kind basic cord as this could be extremely hazardous. Make sure that your own strips and cables are suitable for outdoor conditions.
The responsibility for the proper use of electrical accessories lies solely on the camper.
Tampering with the fuses of the electrical panels is strictly prohibited.
Responsibility for intervening to the electrical power panels is strictly prohibited. Usage of electric ovens or appliances with resistor that exceed the above watt limits and may cause damage, are also prohibited.
ACCOMODATIONS
You can make a reservation online, or with electronic payment or by e-mail.
You will be asked for a passport or ID for check in.
In case of a cancellation of your reservation, a downpayment is fully refunded only if it is done 30 days before the scheduled arrival date. Please note, guests bear all possible bank charges.
I f the cancellation of your reservation is in less than 30 days from your arrival date, guests will be charged 50% of the total amount.
If for some reason guests are unable to stay, you will be charged 50% of the remaining amount for the period you declared and must inform reception at least two days earlier. Otherwise, guests will be charged the full amount of days agreed upon the initial reservation
Your room is cleaned every two days with a change of towels and sheets on the fifth day of your stay. Every day the staff picks up your trash.
White linen stained with dyes-make-up-sunscreen are charged.
IMPORTANT
You are only given one key during your stay and you may be given a second one but you should know that the electricity works with a card which is NOT ALLOWED to remain active during your absence.
It is forbidden to remove the key from the card and it is forbidden to leave the second key in the power and you are absent.
We don’t offer toiletries, (shampoo, shower gel, toothpastes etc).
We have pool and beach towels available, please ask at the reception.
Pets up to 10kg are accepted upon REQUEST and are not allowed to stay alone in the rooms without you.
During peak months, the pool is open from 10am till 20.00pm in the rest of the months the hours are posted in the corridors of your rooms and it is 30-150meters away depending on where your room is located.
View have ONLY the DOUBLE rooms. The rest have mountain-trees or camping view.
The complex IS NOT A HOTEL and DOES NOT have houses or apartments but STUDIOS.
You expressly agree that the entry and stay of each guest-visitor-camper constitutes unreserved acceptance of the terms of the regulations.
With these regulations the ideal conditions are created for a great summer and relaxing holidays.
This regulation applies based on the law on organized camps.
